Kardo Santana
Unapologetically real, raw, and resilient, he awaits his breakthrough in the industry. Having the passion and courage to pursue a music career, Racardo D. Davis, known as Kardo Santana, is a producer, songwriter, and recording artist that specializes in Southern Hip-Hop and R&B. From the small town of St. Matthews, South Carolina, he has found a way to branch out and discover himself as a man and an artist.
Slick and lyrical, he uses poetic language to highlight his music. Kardo Santana is best known for his creative and artistic use of lurid-driven slang that touches the soul. Hardly home but always repping the Carolinas, he comes on the scene with a vintage flow, which he identifies as the "flow-melodies" (rapping and singing). Citing André 3000's Source Awards speech, where he proclaims "the South got something to say" as the spark that lit his creative flame, Santana credits OutKast as his favorite group and biggest inspiration. And with the Hip-Hop landscape searching for the next best thing, he is determined to make it without losing touch of his Southern roots along the way.
